Doshisha Academic Collaborations.

The Executive Office for Jordan's Participation in Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai met with representatives from Doshisha University on July 2nd in Kyoto Prefecture to explore potential academic collaborations and enhance the educational impact of the Jordanian Pavilion.


The delegation met with Ms. Oda from Doshisha High School and Professor Oyamada, Director of the Doshisha University International Center, to discuss the potential of making the Jordanian Pavilion a must-visit destination for school excursions across Japan.


The meeting focused on exploring collaborative opportunities within the framework of Expo 2025's theme of "Designing Future Society for Our Lives," including:
- Student Engagement: Developing educational programs and workshops for students, allowing them to actively engage with the Jordanian Pavilion and learn about Jordanian culture, history, and achievements.
- Research Collaboration: Exploring potential research collaborations between Doshisha University and Jordanian institutions, leveraging the Expo platform for academic exchange and knowledge sharing.
- Student Exchange Programs: Facilitating student exchange programs between Jordanian and Japanese students, fostering intercultural understanding and promoting global citizenship.


These collaborative efforts aim to transform the Jordanian Pavilion into a dynamic hub for learning and cultural exchange, attracting students from across Japan and fostering a deeper understanding of Jordan among the next generation.
