Jordan and Ikenobo School to Collaborate on Cultural Events at Expo 2025.

The Executive Office for Jordan's Participation in Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai announced a collaboration with the esteemed Ikenobo School, a renowned institution of Japanese flower arrangement, to co-host a series of cultural events during the Expo.


During a meeting with Ms. Senko Ikenobo, Deputy Chairperson of the Expo Association and Headmaster Designate of the Ikenobo School, on July 2nd in Kyoto Prefecture, both parties agreed to collaborate on cultural events that will showcase a unique blend of Jordanian and Japanese floral traditions.


This collaboration provides a platform for cultural exchange and mutual learning between Jordanian and Japanese artists. Furthermore, the partnership discussed opportunities for:
- Exchange of Expertise: Facilitating meetings between experts from the Ikenobo School and Jordanian ikebana practitioners to hold sessions and demonstrations.
- Marketing Collaboration: Establishing a joint marketing strategy to feature Jordanian flora and Ikenobo's floral art in various media channels, enhancing visibility for both entities.
- Collaboration with Ikenobo Headquarters: Establishing a formal collaboration between the Jordanian Pavilion and Ikenobo Headquarters to ensure the successful implementation of these cultural exchange initiatives.
