Japan Day for Peace Event.

The Executive Office for Jordan's Participation in Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai hosted a "Japan Day for Peace" event at Al Hussein Technical University (HTU) on October 19th.

The event, organized by a dedicated team within the Executive Office, served as a platform to promote Jordan's participation in Expo 2025 while fostering cultural exchange and solidarity.

The event featured a variety of engaging activities, including:

- Exhibition of Jordanian handicrafts: Showcasing the rich artistic heritage of Jordan.

- Anime and Manga merchandise displays: Engaging young attendees with popular Japanese culture.

- Japanese food stalls: Offering a taste of authentic Japanese cuisine, such as Takoyaki and Okonomiyaki.

- Cultural demonstrations: Interactive sessions on calligraphy, origami, Japanese tea ceremony ("Sado"), and the martial art of Kendo.

Amidst the ongoing conflict in Gaza, the Executive Office made the decision to donate all proceeds from the event to the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization to support those affected by the crisis.

This "Japan Day for Peace" event not only served to promote Jordan's participation in Expo 2025 but also fostered cultural exchange and solidarity between Jordan and Japan while demonstrating a commitment to humanitarian causes.
